I’ve been thinking a lot lately how some people live in such more interesting worlds than I do. They see ghosts, see the future, can talk to spirits, guides, angels. And they do these things so convincingly. I live in a world where when I smell fresh cut grass I just think of how that smell is actually a stress response so the air is just being filled with silent cries for help.

I think I might like to try living in a more interesting world. They keep saying that everyone has the ability to see the future, talk to spirit, feel and/or be legitimately coached and counselled by spirit guides. So much more interesting than the confines of this physical world.

I have a Tarot card deck, so somewhere to start. I know I’m supposed to ground myself and set intentions and all of that but then I’m not sure what one does to “tap in” to the unseen. Maybe we’re all like little cut blades of grass, sending out wordless pleas for help and mercy.
