I had to delete a few posts because I realized I wanted to really try to focus on finding the prettier side of things. It’s hard and I’m not there yet. Target announcing they were backing down on DEI was confusing, sad, frustrating and one of the posts I deleted was a simple RIP Target. But it didn’t sit well with me and I didn’t know why. But then I got to thinking–I’d rather not focus on why I’m no longer shopping at Target and turn the page. Why dwell on the confusing, sad, frustrating bit? Won’t change anything. I think the move for me will be focusing on all the discoveries I’ve made, some I’ve already posted about, since losing my long-time go-to spot.

I also deleted some “do something!” posts and I’ll replace them with how I called my governor today to encourage him to build a coalition of blue states. It felt great to leave a message that said how much I support his work and would he please consider this particular action. It took under 2 minutes. See? So much better than reposting the dumpster fire that is currently rolling with increasing speed into a wall.

I knew this would be a slow build but I didn’t anticipate how hard it would be for me to stay anchored in a higher vibration. But I’m going to try. That’s all any of us can do.
